Full Stack Developer (m/f)

We are currently looking for a Full-Stack master who wants to shape the future with us. You have finished your training and already gained experience in several projects in which you’ve proven your coding skills. You are ready to do amazing things in HTML5, C#, Node.js or JavaScript. A front-end platform like Angular.js or a roll-your-own back-end CMS with MongoDB. Is this what you call your buddies? In this case our team in Vienna is waiting for YOU!

YOUR TASKS

    • Create web-based client back ends for our customers
    • Integrate MongoDB data storage into our back end
    • Deal with scalability and performance issues on Heroku
    • Write & modify read- and maintainable code & documentation
    • Get involved in the architectural design and decisions about how the code will evolve
    • Bring fun and an open spirit into the international team

YOUR PROFILE

  • You’ve got a minimum of 2-3 years of experience building web apps
  • Fluent in C# and JavaScript with Node.js
  • Profound Knowledge of Express, Mongoose, Passport
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus

Unity 3D Specialist (m/f)

We are currently looking for a Unity 3D Specialist who wants to shape the future with us. You have finished your training and already gained experience in several projects in which you have proven your skills. You are ready to do amazing things with Unity. GameObjects, Materials and Coroutines are what you call your buddies? In this case our team in Vienna is waiting for YOU!

YOUR TASKS

  • Implement new requirements and features or improve the current code
  • Develop for multiple VR technologies at the same time
  • Research new technologies and use/suggest new strategies
  • Contribute to our regular planning meetings and pick some interesting tasks
  • Write readable and maintainable code & documentation
  • Get involved in the architectural design and decisions
  • Bring fun and openness into the international team

YOUR PROFILE

  • Technical education and/or experience in software development
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience building 3D applications in Unity with C# on Windows
  • Knowledge about application performance and debugging (runtime analysis)
  • English on a conversational level, German is a plus
  • The ability to deal with challenging tasks
  • Self organised team worker
  • Loyal, curious and open minded
  • Technologies used: C# (Unity), Javascript (Unity/Web), HTML, CSS (optional Bootstrap, SASS, SCSS), Client interfaces for asynchronous and real-time REST APIs, Runtime Loading of Prefabs, Coroutines, Lua, all VR SDKs, VR controller integration, GIT Version Control System
  • Nice to have: Experience and/or enthusiasm about technologies like VR, AR & Mobile devices, professional experience in 3D game development

Android Engineer (m/f)

We are working on innovative and revolutionary VR applications and are currently looking for an Android Engineer who wants to shape the future with us.

You have finished your training and already gained experience in several projects in which you have proven your skills. You are ready to do amazing things with Unity. GameObjects, Materials and Coroutines are what you call your buddies? In this case our team in Vienna is waiting for you!

YOUR TASKS

YOUR PROFILE

DevOps Engineer (m/f)

 

WHO WE ARE

Rocketbike ARVR is an Augmented and Virtual reality development studio, located in Vienna. We are working on innovative and revolutionary applications and are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer with a background in operations, an affinity for software development and comfortable in being an all-around generalist who wants to shape the future with us.

You have finished your training and already gained experience in several projects in which you’ve proven your skills. If you like working to design, maintain, and improve infrastructure related to our primary focus of VR application development, you are the right person!

YOUR TASKS

  • Serve as primary IT support for the development team
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents in all environments (test, stage, and production)
  • Manage and administer all aspects of the software build and deployment pipeline
  • Propose and implement long-term projects to improve and automate the development team’s processes
  • Respond to emergency production issues
  • Assist with deployments and other duties as assigned
  • Constantly strive to learn new technologies and look for ways to stay up to date

YOUR PROFILE

  • You’ve got a minimum of 2-3 years of working experience
  • Fluent in PowerShell
  • Experience with web- and database-server technologies
  • Runs on Windows, Mac, some Linux
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • GIT knowledge, also on the command line
  • Nice to have: Jenkins experience, Unity knowledge, programming skills in C#
  • Nice to have: Experience and/or enthusiasm about technologies like VR, AR & Mobile, gaming background

Software QA Engineer (m/f)

Rocketbike ARVR is an Augmented and Virtual reality development studio, located in Vienna. We are working on innovative and revolutionary applications and are currently looking for a Software QA Engineer who wants to shape the future with us.

You have finished your training and already gained experience in several projects in which you have proven your skills. You have been involved in tasks like software design, writing source code, control of source code, reviewing code, configuration management, change management, program testing, integration of software, or release management process.

YOUR TASKS

  • Working closely with the development team
  • Create and implement test cases
  • Identify and implement improvements
  • Creation of test plans for single releases

YOUR PROFILE

  • You’ve got a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a software QA engineer
  • Basic scripting and programming knowledge
  • Knowledge about mobile- and web-application test automation
  • The ability to deal with challenging tasks
  • Self organised team worker who is loyal, curious and open minded
  • Reliability and accuracy in working methods
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Experience with Unity or a similar framework would be an advantage
